Thanks Katy, I'm hoping DD now gets DaDa for Laines has her funding Audition in April we have fingers toes etc crossed [-o<

OMG that is such good news!!! If dd is lucky enough to get a dada then our contribution will come down quite a lot and with two older boys at Uni that is such good news for us :D :D

That's useful, thanks Katymac. Good luck to your DDs Pearl and Lorry for a dada! I need to look into maintenance for accommodation for degree courses too. It's so expensive in London! :(

Hi yorkshiremum,
you probably already know, but the Student Finance website has a calculator to work out how much maintenance your dd will get.

Yep, London is very expensive :shock: DD was offered a DaDA with full maintenance element but it wouldn't have covered her rent so she opted for the degree and gets double the amount - the downside is it is repayable but at least it makes it possible.

Thanks Carriecrafts. I haven't actually checked yet as she still has auditions to go, but I'm thinking the degree route will probably be our best bet anyway. :D
