So, what has DD forgotten to pack?

So, what has DD forgotten to pack?
I mean she isn't moving for over 10 days but the pile outside her bedroom is growing.....what will she have forgotten?
Re: So, what has DD forgotten to pack?
Or what will she have taken that she doesn't need...
Re: So, what has DD forgotten to pack?
Oh I know- Nana is coming to do an 'intervention' this morning.........
Re: So, what has DD forgotten to pack?
When my DD first moved to London we had a fairly big car with a very big boot. Said boot was filled as was almost all of the back seat - barely room for DD to squeeze in and I also had stuff at my feet However, my view was that if she felt better having her stuff from home around her then it was all good
The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive.
Re: So, what has DD forgotten to pack?
The pile is getting bigger & bigger
Re: So, what has DD forgotten to pack?
& today I made a quilt cover!
Re: So, what has DD forgotten to pack?
Agree with Welsh Mum ... I know my DD certainly felt more settled having all her stuff from home with her! Is your DD getting excited now Katymac?
Re: So, what has DD forgotten to pack?
Excited with moments of panic; I reassure, remind how we have prepared for this - but it's scary for me too
So far we have:
Bedding
Towels (& tea towels)
Bedside light
bin
Torch
some small cooking bits
Bucket with a lid for soaking pink tights
Song books (I haven't bought the monologue books yet)
Notebooks
Uniform
Vanish & handwash liquid
Nail brush
Lots of food (Her BF brought a crate of fun food - small boxes of cereal, noodles, chocolate, nice tea bags etc oh & 6 tins of custard she bought about 9 months ago)
Dustpan & brush
Extension lead, chargers & surge protector
Clothes, toiletries, make up & electricals will be nearer the time
Can you tell I'm panicking too!

Lots!! I always got big packs of that sort of thing which are very bulky to transport when doing a shop. Ditto tinned stuff.

Lunch box (if she is planning on taking her own food into college with her)
We also made a collage of photos for DD of friends and family and put it in a frame for her. It sits beside her bed.
Alarm clock?
Sanitary stuff

Hmmm...drinks to go flasks (hot drinks, cold mornings) and shake maker for smoothies
Also, set up an account for her with Ocado or Tesco for home delivery for food (we relied on this last year) Ocado prooved really reliable (it is linked to Morrison now)
