Billy Elliot Audition Bristol April 26th 2014

Hello, can anyone help me please?

I have applied for an audition on behalf of my son for the part of Michael at the Billy auditions 26/04/14 in Bristol.

When I received a reply asking me to send CV/photo etc I did so straight away, the email says I will hear nearer the time if my child matches all the qualities they are looking for.

He fits every category perfectly according o height etc but I am still waiting to hear. I applied almost 2 months ago.

I understand that there are hundreds of children that apply so he may not get an audition, maybe he doesn't 'look' right for the part - but just wondered if anyone else that has applied to Bristol has been invited to audition yet or to anyone that has already auditioned at the other venues - how far in advance did you hear?

It might well be that they let you know nearer the time. I am sure that Jessica Ronane calls and give a chance to every single boy that fits the specs. In case drop an email later on.
