My own language is sometimes pretty ripe, but I would never put something out in the public domain like that - what a poor reflection on his business.

Casting professional ?

I am quite certain that lots of CDs want to say this type of thing - and do indeed say it in private - but on a Twitter stream?

That's not very nice, is it?

My rule is not to put anything on the Internet that I wouldn't want to display on a big poster outside the front door of my house.

What's a scoby anyway?
I know SCOOBY ;) but not "scoby" in the context of rhyming slang!

I hadn't come across it either.

I think it might be this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCOBY

I almost hope so.

Other "definitions" seem even worse

Quite ... People get into trouble rather a lot from failing to engage brain before tweeting..

I've always worked on the assumption that if I'd not be prepared to stand in the middle of Sainsburys and shout it out, don't type it!

Don't even assume direct messages, PMs, or emails are private - the moment you let even one person see your words, you have no control over them; they can quote or forward your message anywhere.

Hi, irrelevant. With a part-time moderator hat on (fetching, isn't it?) - I edited your last post as I was concerned that a non-adult member of NAPM might click on the link you gave. There are quite a lot of young posters who read this forum. :D

Good advice though!

in my local sainsburys yesterday some woman did exactly that.....kicked off with numerous profanities because the lady on the til smashed her eggs, it turned the air blue, it was totally over the top reaction (bet she'd type worse ! ) :? :-&

He wasn't chosen to cast

They couldn't find the right boy so it went to open casting, it was posted here by (I think sophiesocks) :D
DS had an inset day so I took him, we were phoned within 2 hours and told he had the job!!

Extreme example and unlikely to repeat itself but combination of self referral AND the agent !!

I hope it was me!! :)
