Does anyone on here go to Millenium (or their DS/DD)?

A place to talk about full time schools and post 16 training.

DD was at a workshop this week and really liked it

What is the teaching like? Do you (your DC) like the course/college?

Any other info?

Sorry - don't no anyone there but my experience of their audition day was very positive (speaking as a parent). DS also loved it which is probably more helpful and it was one of his top choices. Directors I think all came from London Studio Centre. Extremely personable - knew all the auditionees ( is that a word?) by name in the Q&A session at the end of the day. Had a very good feel - seemed to really care about their students. Has a good reputation I'm told. Certainly also one of the most helpful on the phone as well with any funding queries.

Not what you wanted but I hope it helps. From DS experience this year, all the Schools have a very different feel - and the potential students seem to know what's right for them. Have to go with instinct as well as reputation.

Thanks Jessnat22 - I think any info is good; it's all about impressions isn't it?

Who took the class he did at the audition? DD was very impressed with the teacher she saw

Where does your DS think he wants to go?

The directors at millennium did teach at London studio centre and are fab people.
The staff in most colleges are freelance and work for a few colleges.
You have to be comfortable with a place and that's when you will get the best from yourself and the teachers.
Donald,Ikky & Jaqui all had fab relationships with us students when I went to studios and are genuine people.
Very approachable and very very professional
Hope this helps
