Peelers - Jamie Thraves Advertised on the casting website

hi, does anyone have details on how to apply for this? i do not have an account on the casting website so it wont let me apply!

'Following the success of Treacle Jr (Winner best film at Dinard) Jamie Thraves is working on his latest film 'Peelers'. Peelers is the story of a 22yr old police officer, (handsome, sexy, mad as a hatter/a bit psycho, friendly & very funny/childish but also violent) who starts dating a 15 yr old school girl who is pretty, strong minded, lots of character - (15 is the playing age of course) The story follows there intense destructive relationship. Jamie is developing the script using the same process he used on Treacle Jr. Basically finding his cast then workshopping the script for a few days. There will be lots of other young characters in the piece. As the two very different worlds intertwine For the initial casting we will be focusing on the police man and the girl '

I don't think the casting website actually has permission to post this casting as it is listed on Spotlight Link as Spotlight Exclusive, which according to Spotlight's website means:

'When a casting professional tells us that a job is advertised only on the Spotlight Link, we tell the recipients. This protects the casting community and is one of the ways we deter unauthorised distribution of information about jobs and projects.'

On the casting brief it also says
'actors and actress suggest only through spotlight Do not contact the director, producer directly in any way shape or form including social networking sites Thank you'

so I recommend that you save your money and don't subscribe to the casting website just for this casting as the cd has made it pretty clear they only want people through Spotlight.

Sorry if this is disappointing guys- theres still plenty of others castings around to go for though!

sXOX - do you have an agent? If so I am sure that your agent will already have submitted you for anything for which you are suitable (you can check with them).

If you don't have an agent, you may not be able to apply unless the casting has gone out to all subscribers.
