Is anyone else struggling with this, how are you supporting your children and managing their disappointment? I know it is for the best for the wider community. I also want to send best wishes to everyone in our position.

We are the same. Struggling a lot. All they want is reassurance that they will get back to it eventually. I can’t give them that. What if they grow? I k ow and understand the wider issues, but it’s not that easy. They just need reassurance and then they would wait patiently for as long as it takes.
