Recommended headshot photographer?

So as the title says - any recommendations? Hampshire based but can travel to London.. so many when googling and no idea where to start! Been with an agency now for 4 months and no castings ... so I guess this is only thing to try? Have some already of course for spotlight but perhaps a actual ‘headahot’ photographer could help bring something extra out so dd is noticed more?
Thanks everyone

We use David Myers https://www.davidmyersphotography.com

He is very lovely and friendly and gets great results (as you can see on his website). Brighton based though - so not sure if too far from you (a seaside day trip??).

I do think having good head-shots is worthwhile.

Hope that helps

AP Wilding is fabulous.

Alexa did DD's headshots and not only was it a really fun session but the end results were better than I could have ever hoped for. I don't know anyone who hasn't come away super happy.

She does tend to book up - we had to wait two months to get a slot - but worth it.

We used Lumosia, they are fab. Relaxed my daughter so much, made her laugh and be serious so we got a great variation of shots. Also the turnaround time for photos was excellent and the gallery of photos taken was available to view within 2 days. https://www.lumosia.co.uk/

Thanks so much everyone - lots of ideas there for me to look through... a huge variation on price too so lots to think about!

I would also recommend AP Wilding, who has recently taken amazing headshots of my DD.

Alexa has a great understanding of what is required to get the right looks for industry at the moment, she advises on clothes to bring and can help with hair styling if needed.

She made my DD feel so relaxed and therefore got the best out of her.

Only downside is she gets booked up way in advance, so you may have to wait awhile to see her.

Just wanted to add 4 months - no casting is pretty normal. My DS is with the agency since Feb and he was only asked for a self-tapes and voice recordings a couple of times. It is a very competitive industry. All I hope at the moment is that his look will miraculously match with the look CDs have in their head. Otherwise, not much hope unfortunately

Your right there! It’s sure is hard! Suppose I’m now thinking along the lines of if I know have best possible shots then at least I’ve done all I can??!
