Musical (in London) with good acting scenes?

DD's new GCSE drama teacher has said she is more than willing to use a musical theatre production as a core for their drama studies as long as there are good acting scenes - i.e. couldn't be Phantom or Les Mis even though these have a suitable plot and characterisation. It's for drama analysis (I gather!). Has anyone any suggestions for current productions? DD is so pleased to have someone on her wavelength but is not sure what to suggest. (Girls' school - 15 year olds- can travel into London). Thank you for any thoughts.

Thank you. Yes we wondered about Jamie just wasn't sure how much dialogue was in it. Great. She'll suggest that. Maybe they'll want some extra parent support! :D

Fun home. Based on a novel and deals with a coming out story.
