Wondering if anyone can help me with this. Megan has an audition for italia conti on Friday and has been asked to bring her own music along on cd, which is fine I know how to download music onto cd's, but they dont need to sing the whole song, Megan has chosen her song and is singing about 2 mins of the song, my question is this..
Do we bring the whole track along and just finish when its time and turn the track off or is there anyway we can download instrumental tracks that can be edited
She would be happy singing acapella, would they be ok with this?

I'm no help with the editing - just wanted to wish Megan good luck
Re: music for audition
Thankyou
It was a long day for her we got there at 9:15am and didn't leave till 6pm. She chose stay by Rhianna to sing because it really suited her voice, wrote her own monologue and Choreographed a dance. She said it went as well as she expected and was really pleased with her performance, and really enjoyed the day. Just the waiting game now, we will find out in the next 2 weeks X

Fingers crossed for Megan.
And it's a bit late, but - for future reference - Audacity is a good, free, downloadable software for sound editing. Just google Audacity and you'll find it.

Thanks Deb,
We found and downloaded a programme and all was good then when we saved it there was a voice note throughout the recording. I then went back to google and saw that Audacity had been recommened, so that is the one we used, I didn't have a clue had to ask Megan to do it for me lol
