I feel fruit names will be considered rather passe soon. (where's the acute accent when you need it?) I predict naming children after styles of architecture.

Mind you, I suppose Norman is already here.

Of I agree that ds has been treated the best when HD has done paid work, that is why we decided not to do unpaid work just not worth it also as Equaty advised not to do unpaid work as if company's can get away with it will pay as little as they can

I look for age group to play, height requirement. How far to travel. At the moment just gaining experience so dont mind whether he is paid or not. Prefer to be not too out of pocket myself. I have travelled 35 miles each way for auditions without expenses being paid.
I find it very exciting myself and try to make sure Im doing it for him and not me!
Always let my son know what I have applied for just incase he really doesnt fancy. Occasionally talk him round to the good idea just to gain experience, which has actually helped when there has been an audition that he does fancy....He is not as shy.
He does have a starnow page though. Im still learning I guess. But it has helped to see what is out there as his agent hasn't really come up with much
Thanks for all the advice though. Its really helping :)

I turned down acting work this week, as I'm too busy ! :o

I look for local, adequately paid and regular these days.

Back in the day, when I was younger and didn't have a family I would take anything and everything!
