inviting casting directors to a play

Post by Fuji11547 » Tue Oct 22, 2019 11:21 am

DS is playng a part in a Fringe Theatre in Camden. All the adult cast are inviting casting directors to a play. Do you think I should do it too? DS is with the agent. The casting directors he met previously are quite famous and respectable in the industry. I obviously worry to do or say something what is a big "no-no" [-X Would you write to them or maybe tag them on Twitter? Or Fringe play is not of an interest for CDs who work in TV or Films? Please help.

I would speak to his agent. If his agent thinks that it would be worthwhile casting directors coming to watch then hopefully they will be in a better position to invite them to come along. Your agent is your direct link to the professional world - I would consider if their job to be trying to promote your son's performances.

Very good point! Thank you very much. The agent has been informed. I am hoping they will do some magic on the background.
