Re: Dr Who
Woooh now you have me guessing. It could any any one of a number of Olivier winners. .....of maybe a presenter. Daniel Radcliffe perhaps????
Re: Dr Who
?Luke Treadway.....cannot be Michael Ball!!
Re: Dr Who
Yes my rumour was Luke Treadaway!
Re: Dr Who
Not Miranda Hart then? I didn't really believe that rumour, but that would be an awesome casting!

Re: Dr Who
with each regeneration the Dr seems to get younger and younger,
another 5 years and he will be picked from CBEEBIES!
nothing against Luke T if it were him, he is an outstanding actor, but young at 28 imo - I just hope this isn't going doing the ageist route of everything else on TV

I was still hoping to break the mould a bit and have a woman.....
Re: Dr Who
Matt Smith was 26 when he was first cast. Hes awesome in Curioys Incident (saw it last September) so would be a very good choice if it were true.riverdancefan wrote:with each regeneration the Dr seems to get younger and younger,

Re: Dr Who
I know Luke Treadaway has one twin brother, but does anyone else see the similarity to Tom Hughes, the young guy in the first series of Silk? I really thought it was the same person when I saw Luke in a newspaper article.

Re: Dr Who
It's about time we had a black Doctor!!
Sorry but I feel strongly about this
And it should be Adrian Lester or Chiwetel Ejiofor
The end

RDF love it a black Dr Who......who is the chap who was in the Bond movies who had been seen for that main role...and the rest is history ...Colin Salmon...older but very easy on the eye!
Even Adrian Lester probably too old!
Heads off to put on thinking cap!!!!

Re: Dr Who
We once met to meet Colin Salmon at the opening of a new extension at the local sports centre. My teachers were totally freaking out whilst we were standing there confused thinking 'who is that guy?'siohip wrote:RDF love it a black Dr Who......who is the chap who was in the Bond movies who had been seen for that main role...and the rest is history ...Colin Salmon...older but very easy on the eye!

Re: Dr Who
He's lovely, swoon And a talented trumpeter too! He would be a terrific doctor, he's soooo cool! He would be an ideal counterpoint to Matt Smith's, slightly manic, doctor.
Gosh, I'm a grown woman debating who would make the best doctor - another reason why I love this site
