As far as I know, it's done by same team behind Mama Mia and along the same lines. Nothing to do with the story of Spice Girls, just using the music. The story goes...........pushy mum enters talented daughter into high profile talent contest.....

Would have been nice if they'd let the cast of Ghost know instead of letting them read it in a Sunday paper !!

Seen more details this evening.... It's written by jennifer Saunders and based loosely on the story of the Spice Girls.
However the characters are "fictional"
It might be really funny if Jen SAunders has had a hand. I'm a real big fan of hers!!
A great production team too. It's not on my "must do " list though , I will wait for the NAPM
reviews!
