Did you watch the history of musicals on BBC4 last Tuesday? It was a great programme and there was quite a lot about JCS in it - well worth catching on i player and part 2 is on this week.

Thanks for the tip :D The first part is repeated at 7.15pm tomorrow on BBC4. Might not be able to wait that long so iplayer could be the answer, but why is it saying you should be over 16 to watch? 8-[ Do I need to make sure dd and ds don't see it?

There is some discussion of adult themes, especially around the musical 'Hair'. I watched it with my DDs aged 9 and 7 and didn't see anything that worried me or seemed inappropriate, but it depends on your boundaries.

Hope this helps

Thanks Flosmum. I don't think I'll worry too much then, a lot of things go over their heads anyway. Looking forward to watching it.

I saw the orginal Jesus Christ Superstar in London when I was 11 and have always loved the music...can't wait for another chance to see it on stage :D :D
