Panto- it's behind you!!

Postby MelFH » Sun Jul 29, 2018 2:53 pm

Good afternoon,
Feels like last years thread has just ended, but am beyond excited that my kids have both been cast in panto again. This year same panto, same team!! Boom.
DD is in the chorus and DS is Michael in Peter Pan (third time in the role).
Love panto, it's local, it's fun and the kids get to work with professionals and celebrities.
Anyone else.

Well done to your DC. Mine has decided to give panto a miss as he is only just within the age range and I think looking too grown up. So he's got himself cast as John Darling in a non-panto version of Peter Pan (Stiles and Drewe) at Christmas instead! Will really miss the panto but will go and watch, and we're looking forward to the flying adventures instead.

congratulations to your children both of you. We haven't had auditions yet. DD1 was told she was too tall last year (at 10) so just DD2 (9) to audition this time. Wasn't sure we were going to let her as they have both done 2 so things seem fair so far but I feel I shouldn't try and control things fairly all the time as how do we know the taller one won't end up getting to do different things anyway. hard though as she is still upset about the fact her friends all can do it still.

Huge congratulations to your children =D>
My DD is doing Adult panto again and is also doing kids panto with schools tour! Busy time (hope she doesn't get the scripts muddled up! oops!) ;)
I believe that children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.......

Congratulations to everyone doing panto this year. DD decided that last year would be her last year doing panto but changed her mind and is in panto again this year. She is currently in rehearsals for a very strange panto this year Wizard of oz, she is one of the four principle munchkins, they decide to form a band and are called the spicekins, she is scary spice...sounds interesting.

Congratulations. Sounds brilliant. Last year my daughter said the same, but as soon as the auditions came around there was no question and is so looking forward to rehearsals starting.
