And sorry 22tutus for the DC who is too tall. DS will no doubt be there next year too.

thanks Biscuits. Wouldn't be so bad if she was nearer the upper age limit too but she has only just turned 10 so only got to do it twice. she is so upset but she is being very mature about it which I am really very proud of.

I can't believe that panto season is upon us, congratulations to those that managed to get cast this year and sorry for those that didn't. Auditions for DD's panto were in June which seem so far away and now we are very close to opening night, dress rehearsal in theatre tomorrow eve then opening night on Thursday, I can't wait to watch my very own Aladdin on stage. Good luck everyone =D> =D> =D>

Break a leg Supamum's DD! DS opened last week and it was Press Night last night so all a bit tired today! Going well though. It's his last chance before he's too old/tall to be a panto babe, so we're just enjoying it all as much as possible. Good luck to all panto performers this Christmas!

Thank you ScoobyDoo, he's having a great time and insisted on going to scouts tonight on his night off instead of getting an early night (I'm in bed already) so he can't be too shattered! Merry Christmas to you and I hope 2018 brings plenty of excitement and success for your DS xxx

How are they all getting on? my daughter has done 8 shows now out of 21 so still a fair few to go but she is loving it again. I am shattered and really looking forward to it all being over in a lot of ways but equally it is lovely seeing her have such a great time.

My DD is on her first year as a Panto babe this year and is absolutely loving it. She was completely exhausted by the rehearsals (I think being at school all day and then rehearsing every evening was a bit relentless) but now the shows are under way she is much better. She has done 19 shows and we have 12 to go so well over half way it’s flying!!! Hope everyone else’s children are enjoying it too!

yes school and rehearsals are the worst bit I think for tiredness, once they get into the shows it all seems so much easier. I can't believe you have so many shows, how many weeks does your panto run for? ours is 10 days of rehearsals and just over 4 weeks of shows but they have 2.5 teams of children so they get 21 shows each.
