Ray and Robin modelling agency

Post by hove actually1 »

Hello

My 'tweeny' (11-14) child has been accepted by a handful of agents and they all seem to have good reps. But still researching companies and wanted to know what people think about Ray and Robin and if they cater well for my child's age group? With our previous agent, we had castings on average about once a month and half of these would end up as pencils (but not landed a job yet- which is frustrating).

Any advice regarding agents that do well with this age range would be appreciated as it seems that a lot of agencies focus lies on babies and toddlers.

Thanks for any tips

We also applied to ray and robin for my DD who is 10 next month. We received an email asking for more photos which we replied to but have not heard anything since! Had a little look through their Insta which looks pretty good. Did you go for an assessment day with them? :D

Ray & Robin are great. My son is with them for stills and has done well, he is 15 and getting a bit tall for kids clothes now ;)

This is a very late reply ....ha ha....but might help someone else who is looking around into this subject. So.... we didn't get into Ray and Robin but the owner was really nice - she said that they tend to represent 'quirky' kids and that my child was more commercial and she was sure he would find lots of work with another agency. So nice that she bothered to reply (they don't always do that). In the end we went with Kids London and that worked out well. Its a big agency - lots of internal competition but - worked out okay for us. So would recommend them for anyone thinking about modelling agencies - also spotlight / and acting opportunities
