Hi,
My daughter is with MJ and basically had one big job with them. Not much else has come from it and the head booker there recently left. Been having a look around and DD has now been offered a place at Sylvia Young. Would this be a good move? really not sure what to do, advice much appreciated. Many thanks

Re: Sylvia Young or Mark Jermin??
Interested to see what people say...
I terminated DD's contract with her last agent a couple of months ago and have been taking some time to look for other options - SY is one that I am seriously considering (we are considering SYTS for secondary, so that plays into the considerations).
How old is your DC? From what I understand, Sylvia's tends to prioritise the kids at the school from 10-16, so if between those ages I'd be more wary. If younger than 11 then a good option.

I would say from experience that SY prioritise the children at the school. They are still a great agency though and we have had jobs through them that haven't been on spotlight
