Daisy and Dukes

Post by Ellie8989899301 »

I have an audition for Daisy and Dukes in a few weeks time, and was wondering if anyone has any experience of the workshop auditions for this agency, particularly for the older age group (I am 19)? I also need to prepare a monologue and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations?
Thank you!

My dc are with them and we're very happy. My dd had a workshop but was only 6 at the time but she really enjoyed it. Bear in mind they want you to do well and are actually routing for you and want you to be relaxed and show them what you can do :) it's a lovely friendly agency, good luck.

Pwilliams
You seem to have a huge problem with Daisy and Dukes - may I say almost a personal vendetta.
Your posts are always derogatory when posting about this agency.
D&D have huge amounts of work , leads , voice overs and extra work as most of us know.
You hardly ever post and when you do - it's to be negative about D&D
I don't get it !
Maybe you could explain what your beef is? ... Share your experience ?

Pwilliams

I would suggest that unless you have experience particularly of the agency then better not say anything at all!!

D & D are a great agency!!

My DD is not working in the background!!!

Pwilliams you are becoming ridiculous. It is obvious to anyone you run a rival agency and I have my suspicions as to who you are. Daisy and dukes are great they get great work featured in theatre and feature films. They are great at communicating and I love them. Plus they don't need to bad mouth rival agency's in order to make sure children join their agency. People love their agency and they have a wonderful friendly positive atmosphere which any child would be lucky to be a part of. You need to seriously think about the approach you are taking as Daisy and dukes is a great agency.

It would seem that you are the Company Secretary of Top Talent. I do not think that undermining other Agencies is the best way to promote yourselves.

My ds is represented by Top Talent, and if this is true (and I'm no Columbo, but it looks pretty damning) then I am very disappointed. Could it be a stitch up? PWilliams, prove us wrong. My ds's contract is up for renewal and I am having second thoughts about signing :( .

pwilliams is currently on line editing posts.......
AND its weird how their "child " has been considering Top Talent auditions since 2012 - you would have think they would have made their mind up by 2014

I dont think pwilliams is clever enough for it to be a stitch up "possiblypushy" as if you look at there previous post and especially there first!! see below:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16084&p=183107#p183107

I would say it was slightly obvious.

pwilliams has if you notice edited/deleted part of there comment off.

I hope that this assists in any decisions you may have "possiblypushy" :D

How embarrassing for TT(not that I have any sympathy if they really have done this!)Time for them to issue some sort of statement?

Fancy doing this and using your real name!

Someone's in trouble- unless like possibly pushy said, that this is some kind of stitch up-and someone's got it in for TT?....

I guess there must be some sort of "history" between Top Talent and D&D as they're both based very close together in Herts in neighbouring towns. Seems very unprofessional to bring it online though...
