from the north

my dd has a north east agent, she has been with her for about two yrs and hasnt had that many auditions but has recently filmed a tv series. One of the directors in the show advised her to get a london agent as he said alot of cd's wont look at anyone further than leeds. She has got friends in london so staying there is not a problem but can anyone tell me if this is the case. Her agent says she can get the same auditions as the london agents but im not so sure. In a bit of a quandry what to do.
