Standard required for performing arts 6th form vs 3yr diploma at 16
Is the standard required to get into a performing arts 6th form college to do vocational MT qualifications equivalent to A Levels lower than for the 3 year MT diploma course that can be done at 16? I assume this is the case but wanted to be sure as there seems to be many options and I’m just trying to guide my DD correctly.

Usually yes
The 3 year Level 6 diploma is equivalent to degree level is meant to lead straight into the industry whereas the 2 year L3 6th form courses are meant to prepare young people for entry to degrees or diplomas.
Some institutions offer both.
