We had to top him up last year as he only got the minimum maintenance loan, He'll get less again this year, so to receive a dada placement elsewhere will still be tough going financially for 12 months. Best of luck to your dd, fingers crossed you get a confirmed place. x
Thanks. It's been confirmed so absolutely delighted and relieved. Good luck, hope it's good news xx
Yeh!!! Congratulations! So pleased for you both x
That's amazing well done, we're still waiting, but staying hopeful x

Thanks Beanie and Jennifer - we have been on here a while!
Newbe - they are going through the reserve list so you may be able to find out the place on it early next week because I think deadline to accept or decline offers is about now. Good luck x

Thank you, Tanya told us we should ring early next week and she should be able to update us a little better where on the list dd sits. Xx

Hi Robin64, we've also had fab news!!! had a call from Bird, though it's not the degree, it's a funded place until a space becomes available, which they're pretty sure we'll get. But at least we can now sort out accommodation ect as soon as it's available. \:D/

Hey that is good news. The halls at Avery are fine and good for getting to know people. Fast bus service to and from Bird. DD is getting a flat this time but she thought the halls were good for her first time away. Glad for you and your DD and degree sounds promising too.
