Best wishes for 2018

Post by lbm1e14 »

Wishing everyone a healthy, happy and successful 2018.

For those parents and DCs who are in the process of auditioning and are not getting offers please keep your heads up and keep trying. This time two years ago we had 4 rejections and 3 auditions to come in Jan/Feb but it all worked out despite having accepted it might well be a two year process at best.

As mentioned in another thread you need to be tough to train but even tougher to make it once training is over. Hopefully the college your DC ends up at will prepare them for that. Our DD is totally prepared thanks to The MTA and under no illusion other than that the training is just the start and is the easy bit.

Thankyou x Happy New Year to you too x We are waiting one decision and have had two rejections, One unconditional offer at Gloucester now two more auditions next year before DD decides what to do. Our heads are still standing high and smiling x

That's great. Do remember that it's a brave thing to do as there are no guarantees for next year but not accepting any offers is a valid choice too if DD doesn't like the offer(s) she has.

Thankyou for that x It is hard to know what's the right thing to do but ultimately she has to be happy otherwise it's no point x She has an agent so other opportunities may be available xx We are hoping for another offer first x Let 2018 be lucky for us all x
