Dance studios

Post by Lechia78 »

Hi!

We are relocating to London from Australia due to my son gaining a spot in syts. I have a 13 year old who is an extremely strong dancer. So I am trying to find some dance studios around the area. She does all styles ballet, jazz, tap . However she is a very strong jazz dancer . Is there anybody that could recommend a great place that offered great technique and performance opportunities for her. Thanks

Great news about your son - congrats

As above look for qualified teachers but also research in the area you are going to live in. Travelling distances across London to get to daily dance classes isn't fun or easy, especially after a day at school.

Have a look at ETA(Elite Theatre Arts)based in Bromley which is less than 20 mins from Victoria .They do lyrical jazz classes on Thursdays .I think Lewis the teacher also guest teaches at SY.

SY also has a Saturday and evening school that offers dance classes, or Pineapple is good. :D
I believe that children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.......
