Hi collieni, that's great that he has been asked to come back and audition for the acting course. I think once they have done one audition they feel more relaxed as they know what is expected. Millennium were really quick to let us know.

Hi Dancingmoll, we had the same problem. Printed it out and sent it by post in the end.

Audition dates coming thick and fast - dd1 on 5th and 8th February; dd2 on 1st; 18th; 20th February. Glad I have a few years before ds applies for music courses :)

Dd auditioned at LSM today (Uni of West London), the blurb said that they would make a cut at lunchtime and there would be a break to eat. They didn't, so she went from breakfast at 7am til 3.30 without anything but water. Just want to warn anyone else auditioning to take lots of snacks. She did enjoy the day though, haven't heard much more as she has gone to bed!

Am I right in thinking that Millenium's MT course is weighted more heavily towards dance than some of the others? It's just that the dance part of the audition looks pretty intensive compared to others?

I believe so jenniefer1972! We got confirmation of DDs audition today and were surprised to see they have a contemporary class as well as a ballet and jazz - almost 3 hours, definitely one of the longer dance auditions. They also mention pointe work which I haven't seen in an MT audition before, does anyone who has done the audition know if they actually do see candidates pointe work?

You can chose if you want to do pointe work or not (DD didn't & still got a place & a DaDA at Millennium) the course was more heavily weighted towards singing rather than dance compared to Urdang/Performers/Laine I thought but the teacher there is amazing!

Why did you think it was more heavily weighted towards singing Katymac?

We managed to get a timetable & there were more singing lessons than at Performers or Urdang or Bird

Good to know, thanks!! :D It's just that the audition seems to involve more dance than anything else!
