DD came home last night and after a lot of talking etc has decided to go to Bird on Diploma. We too were supposed to accept by 12 noon Wednesday but have had it extended til Monday as admin manager not back in college till then anyway!!

Will now decline urdang part funding and take name off reserve list at Laine as she has decided that if she was offered DADA at Laine she would now prefer to be at Bird - talk about change mind like the weather!!

Congratulations everyone with offers and final decisions, I've been following your stories…..and feeling your lows and highs….what a marathon it has been this year!! (We were there a couple of years ago and I don't remember it being quite this prolonged - or maybe I've just wiped the memory!!).

Looks like DD will be seeing a number of your DDs at Bird in September (she'll be starting her final year…..then the next stage starts in earnest…gulp!!)

Hang on in there everyone else……..fingers crossed for your talented children too.

Bambi - I called and they said a few Dadas were coming back in now. They have their show today and tomorrow and then a week off so if there is any news for my DD then it will now be at least two weeks. So sweet you remembered to ask! Thank you x

It is good that they are being open about returned DaDA's, it will give others hope. My DD has had an offer of a DaDA from Millennium, so our DD's may meet next year! DD is still waiting for news of other reserve lists she is on before she is 100% sure Millenn is 'the one for her' but she feels that it would offer her what she needs. I personally think it is her best option as there seems to be lots of focus on singing there (which is her stronger area)

Are you going to their show this weekend? We are, tickets booked for last show tomorrow at 7:45 and I cannot wait, so exited!!

Thank you for your post kitkat. Unfortunately we are unable to go to the show tomorrow. We had previously booked tickets for a west end show, so we will be in London but the wrong show :/ It would be wonderful if our DD met at Millennium in September, as that would mean good news for us I hope you both enjoy the show x
