Genevieve - they could have raised their eyebrows as they couldn't believe how talented your dd was for her age rather than she was too young! She is doing so well. Good luck and do keep us informed.
All new to me!

I came across this entertaining blog http://actor-w.blogspot.com/

If anyone is interested in reading a first hand account of all the worry that goes on about auditioning - this is your actor!

I really enjoyed reading this, thanks. If he doesn't get into RADA he may have a future as a writer. Or, failing that, a lawn mower mechanic

I really hope he gets through to the next round - all that elation of a recall, another audition and more waiting. I think writing a blog like that must help to get the anxiety out of your system. Great link, thank you for posting.

the impression dd and friends have got so far, is that Mountview seem to have offered places to those of a really wide range of abilities - and Guildhall seem to be giving recalls more to those who are 20+ and those who have already done a degree at University ! Oh dear #-o And the panel at Guildhall auditions do a lot of stopping and starting candidates during their monologues and songs

Good luck to all those talented dd/ds. I hope you guys are all still around in 3 years time. Everyone on this site is so great in sharing their experiences, knowledge and above all we all seem to care for each other and understand how difficult it can be for our dd/ds. Well done guys and keep up the very special work. =D> =D>
