The Vale School Of Dance

Post by barmby1234 »

Hello. Has anyone any experience of this dance school. One of my child's friends parent mentioned this some time ago. It is a dance school I have not come across before. We are looking for my DD who is 10 years old in December.

Hello there! Just to say that I don't have any personal experience with the Vale School, but I have seen some of their dancers in competitions over the years and they do seem to be of a very high standard! My DS dances with the Cheshire Theatre School in Reddish which I'm very happy with - CTS also seems to have good results in competitions and have dancers who are part of the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates programme and with the Elmhurst scheme. Just to mention, there is a Stockport Dance Festival coming up in November (I've had a look on the internet but can't find a website for it yet) and I'm sure there will be lots of Stockport Dance Schools competing if you want to take a look and compare!

Can I ask which Vale School of Dance? There is one in Wales also, which I know of dancers who went there- but talking some years ago as my DD is older and now dances professionally.

Yes I know of them.

It's not one I'd want my dd to attend for several reasons but their approach does appeal to some.
