dancing after op

Post by dabdab »

Is there anyone out there who has had an op on spine for scoliosis (or knows anyone who has) and STILL managed to get on to some sort of dance course or musical theatre course post 16??

Dabdab have you thought about posting your question in the Doing Dance section of the balletcoforum? I had a search on there as I could have sworn there was a thread about scoliosis in the past, but I couldn't find it. Anyway there are experienced teachers, physiotherapists and even medical dance specialists who post on there, so you might get some useful advice. Did you know Birmingham has a specialist medical dance unit? Might be worth looking into an appointment there? Also I found this http://www.rnoh.nhs.uk/clinical-service ... e-medicine
