Arrgh...ballet tights mishap.
Thanks to a stray black school sock in the washer I have just turned a pile of DD's pink ballet tights a particularly unattractive shade of pinky grey. Does anyone know any magic tricks that might restore them or should I just resign myself to replacing them all?

Dylon produce colour run remover

It used to be called Dygon but the brand name may have changed now. Available from haberdashers and those amazing stores that seem to stock everything (didn't we used to call that 'Woolworths'?)
Has to be worth a shot - those tight don't grow on trees!
Good luck - let us know how you get on.

Thanks - I'll see if I can get hold of some of that and give it a try. The annoying thing is that I'd saved up a pile of tights to wash together to avoid washing them with darker stuff and now I've gone and ruined the whole lot!

Well, you definitely don't do things by halves, do you?!
Those stray socks are tricky little devils, aren't they? Its usually a ted one contaminating white stuff in our house.
