YADA showcase monologues: Leeds/Harrogate????

Post by northernmum2017 »

Hi all,
has anyone heard of YADA? Yorkshire Academy of Dramatic Arts. They look a bit odd to me, but have done some pretty good monologue videos. http://www.yada.company/videos-1 Thinking about it for my 13 year old DD. Any help gratefully received as I'm sick of traipsing around drama groups and getting nowhere and my DD learning next to nothing.

Hi, They're really good, my son has being going for a term now and enjoys it. Its much harder work than your average Saturday morning "drama" group as the teaching is more detailed - a proper drama lesson. The kids are expected to have a passion for drama and work on pieces outside of the lesson. I'd really recommend it for anyone serious about learning their craft.
