Searching for Tiny Tim, the Cratchitts, the chorus and more - A Christmas Carol at The Albany in Coventry

Post by TTB86 »

Hello Performers and their Supporters,

We are casting for The Cratchitt children, including Tiny Tim to appear in The Albany Theatre (Coventry) and Tread the Boards Theatre Company's production of 'A Christmas Carol' running throughout Dec 2016 and Jan 2017. It is a fantastic opportunity to perform alongside this stunning, professional cast, including BCC One's Trish Adudu in this magical production, directed by critically acclaimed director Keith Myers (Bill Kenwright, P&O Cruises).

We are looking for children of any ethnicity, from 5 years old and up to play the four principle Cratchitt children (two girls & two boys) or from 9 years old and up to be one of the chorus, playing, choral singing and being festive. There will be three/four rotating groups throughout the run. For the principles there will be lines within the part and experience would be useful but for the chorus you do not have to have any experience to be part of the chorus, just the discipline for the stage and a fun filled attitude!

Alongside the acting troupe we are searching for musically talented youngsters to play in the live band for many of the performances, chaperones and adult chorus and are happily accepting applicants for backstage experience also; anyone can get involved.
