Audition speech
My DD has an audition with NYT this weekend and we've just noticed she needs to prepare a '2 minute speech from a published play' (bit slow on the uptake us!). Can anyone make a suggestion for a 15 year old girl? We've racked our brains and haven't come up with anything remotely age appropriate! Many thanks in advance
Its the posh, posh travelling life, the travelling life for me ......

Maybe try http://www.artsonthemove.co.uk/resource ... syoung.php or http://www.backstage.com/monologues/teens/ for ideas and check with drama teacher beforehand. Sounds obvious but we didn't know so much was available and if you Google it will come up with lots of websites with suggestions. However, we always check just in case the piece is a known 'no no'.
Re: Audition speech
I replied on your other thread, but wanted to suggest Rosaline's speech from After Juliet by Sharman McDonald.
