Lolalou- you seem to be in the loop on this one- so what do we make of news about a third film then?
would they really be developing a showcandva film at the same time?

Re: Nativity! workshop
I heard about the workshop same as everyone else from dc agent.... So not sure what time frame the stage musical is slated for. Musicals can take years from conception and workshop to actually hitting the stage though ...Re Nativity 3 the film - the director Debbie Issitt was on the radio with the 'exclusive' that N3 would be filmed in Coventry this Autumn...and that's the extent of what I know I'm sadly...

Hi all again
Are you reading this as verse or chorus or verse and chorus?!

Re: Nativity! workshop
I'd understood this to be a workshop for the film N3.
Usually verse and chorus. They will stop you if they've heard enough.
Huge good luck to everyone going in tomorrow. Most important have fun!!!

Re: Nativity! workshop
I've never known it to not be 'verse and chorus' and as Emi's mum says, they will stop you early sometimes if they need to.
Well my DS has not done any dance thing, has not prepared any new monologue so will just be making everything up in there tomorrow it seems good job he's not phased by things really!

Is this her first audition Moukouri? Above anything else, try to keep it as pressured free as possible, its okay if it's not word perfect and to just enjoy going in there. My DS has a monologue of sorts but has done nothing, zilch for a dance thing as only confirmed today that that was the case. It will be fine

Re: Nativity! workshop
Hi
No she has done many auditions and has had to learn little bits of scripts which she is fine at, and has a great memory,is confident, etc.Just finding it a bit uncomfortable talking about herself!Think she'd be fine if it was a conversation or asked what she liked /didn't like etc.She is a great singer and has a likeable nature,so we've ticked that bit off I guess!

Ah she'll be fine from the sound of it once she's in that room, see you tomorrow maybe.
Re: Nativity! workshop
I don't know about younger ones - but there are lots of adult actors who find talking about themselves really difficult! Hopefully the CDs are good at getting the chat flowing - they will have had lots of experience.
Re: Nativity! workshop
I would have suggested for the younger children to perhaps write a quirky limmerick or poem about themselves. Along the lines of.....
I am an ex dancer called Emi's Mum
I try really hard to keep a slim tum
I eat three meals a day
To try to stay that way
But I seem to get bigger....how come?
Gosh I'm hilarious Hopefully this will give you the general gist though. Short, simple quirky and easy to remember.
