Can someone give more details about this, please? Is it open to anyone, age group, etc. Thank you. :)

Hi ditzi

We had it through the agent - age 10 to tiny 13 was asked for ! But no other physical characteristics.

Lots of different ages and sizes there yesterday, dd only in for about 25 mins and just did improv - 4 were kept back to read some script, another group waiting to go in when we left.

Nice friendly girls :D

my dd was waiting to go up, exactly the same as you will be watching to see who they cast my dd wasn't kept back to read the script so she's not holding out any hope, but another girl from her agency did so we have our fingers crossed for her :D never heard of a pre cast but they did see lots and lots, what a long day

Hi

What time was your dd in letitshine ?

Yes we met some lovely friendly girls and particularly an 11 year old blonde girl with the initial E, who has held back to read the script. Wonder if they are a napm ?

Anyway, good luck to all - :D

Pre reads are common in USA especially for TV pilots and are the first stage in casting. Actors are invited to meet the CD and read but usually these are not taped. Those invited to the next stage are then taped by CD or casting associate. Not sure if pre casting means the same thing.

I auditioned for this yesterday day and got held back to read the script but I haven't heard anything yet.
Do you reckon IF I do get through they would have told me the day after my audition(today) or do they leave it a while? I Just don't want to get my hopes up if I haven't got a call back :) good luck to everyone else who's auditioning!;)
Oh and I think the CD was Sue Needleman :D
Thanks :P

Depends - sometimes you never hear anything and have to take it as a 'no', sometimes they give feedback to your agent on whether they want to see you again for a recall or sometimes (very rarely, and not had this for tv work) they tell ou on the day. Best of luck x
