Was just wondering if its any good joining thecastingwebsite.com? And paying for it? Has anybody actually got any jobs at all from it? Because iv been with star now a long time,and iv only had one job,a short film,extra,and it hasnt even came out yet,i did it last year..

Hi littlered, there have been many threads on here about the casting website, some love it some don't. If you put it in the search box you'll be able to read the many many comments.
With regard to your short film last year, I would contact them and ask for a copy of the film, keep pestering because if it was a student film they can sometimes forget the cast once it's over. If you have theirpersonal contact details e-mail/text them directly (they should have given you a way to contact them other than star now) as many people sign up to starnow just to post that particular casting and don't look at their account again once the job is over.
We once contacted someone through starnow that dd had worked for and they didn't reply for 8 months because they only went back on starnow when they were doing their next years project!
