Good luck eldon, hope it goes well. Just out of interest, is your DS blonde or dark haired - I only ask because on the original poster the child pictured is dark haired, which surprised me.

He's blonde! Be interesting to see if this actually casts and films this time!

Ha yes you are right eldon - this is about the 5th outing! My lad is blondish too, so am hoping they will be going down the truer route of a blondish lad rather than dark haired, dark eyed, which just does not work in my mind! Best of luck.

DS is being seen for this later this week (he's blond too). Interesting to hear that this project has been round the houses so many times - helps keep expectations realistic! DS hasn't been asked to prepare anything for the casting - maybe there isn't actually a script yet?

Good luck to your DS FredaBloggs, yes last time in 2014 I think... we did have a script to learn, but maybe they are doing it differently this time.

Did this casting today, booked through agent. It was just a 'general chat'' to see and speak very briefly to the boys. No script like last year. We were amazed by the range of boys there - some of them were nearly as tall as the casting director! Good luck to everyone.

Hi,
They emailed me over quite a big script for Ollie to learn, we are self taping it and sending it back today. Anyone else done that???. We sent a video off with him saying what his favourite book etc was and then they sent over the script.

Recalls from casting this week are getting scripts. We are not self taping but going in next week in person. I wonder which approach is more successful overall. We have gotten jobs via Skype auditions/self tapes but it seems like they almost always prefer to meet in person.
I also wonder if any of the taller, older boys are being recalled, or if they are sticking to the original brief of 7-10 (small size tens) year olds?
