pride of Britain

Post by francescasmum » Sun Feb 27, 2011 7:12 pm

I have just read a very moving book about a little girl called Kirsteen Lupton. She is so brave and has done a great deal of fund raising for Great Ormond Steet Hospital where her condition was treated. It is beautifully and tastefully written from her, her mother, her father and occasionally her brothers' points of view. It is called Pride of Britain and was written a few years ago I think. (Published by Virgin Books). Some parts made me laugh, others made me cry, but most of all I felt deeply moved by this family's story and so grateful that my children her healthy babies.
