Saw this post on another group so I hope its valid.

the Daily Mail is offering a family and friends railway card free for 2 months,
with the possibility of buying one for half price (valid 1 year) at the end of
july.
You need to go on this page :

If you are not due for renewal quite yet (mine runs out in July) it is still worth getting it because you can then get next years half price. That is what we did last year. The free two month one only gave us an extra two weeks but then we got this years half price.

really miss the railcard, now ds is 17 its costing him so much more to travel! He uses the train daily for college and could get a travel card, but they can only be used on tickets over £10, and before 10am, so he has to pay full fare!

Thank you for posting this offer. This has kept me going for a number of years. They dont usually ask for password from the daily mail, do they ? Can you let me know passwords if anyone has them available ? :D

Interestingly for people with older children ... if you buy a three year card the year your DC turns 15 you can continue to use them even after your DC has turned 16 until the expiry date ... so definitely worth doing. I only discovered this when it was too late ](*,) !!!
