could anyone suggest a couple of monologue for my daughters BA degree auditions this year. she needs a contemporary and an classical from published plays. we seem to have exhausted the lists and most are probably over done anyway. :-k

Hi, dd brought a monologue book off amazon, you're able to purchase for various different styles, each book has multiple monologues from different plays. Hope this helps x

The National Theatre Connections books have a good range of contemporary monologues by new playwrights.

Have a look at a play called Emilia by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm’s which was performed at the Globe theatre last year. Its full of rousing feminist speeches. Actually all 3 of her plays have some great feminist speeches.
