British Theatre Academy

My son would like to audition for a play which runs this summer, the entire summer holidays. Has anyone worked for BTA before and will know if there will be an opportunity for us to at least have a weekend away. I expect there will be a few teams of children and it may work out but I am reluctant to let him audition as we always miss out on holidays due to theatre commitments
Thanks

I think it would depend if it was a paid or unpaid opportunity as to whether you sacrifice your hols

I think it would be more down to missing rehearsals. My DD took part last year and it was pretty much every day up to performance time,we had a schedule of rehearsals and performances and could plan once we had that. As with most productions 100% is always required difficult if you are desperate to have a break and it impacts on other family members.
