Re: Christopher Robin casting

Good luck eldon, hope it goes well. Just out of interest, is your DS blonde or dark haired - I only ask because on the original poster the child pictured is dark haired, which surprised me.

Re: Christopher Robin casting

Out of interest I looked around to see if I could see any information about whether this was filmed or not last year and it looks like it is still in the planning stages.... yet they must have spent a fortune on all the castings, there were loads as far as I can make out. Did anyone hear differently?

Re: Jo Hawes Workshops

Hiya Coniger,

Yes she sent me through all the bumph, I am definitely thinking about doing it, there just seems to be a ton of things on at the moment so am trying to wade through stuff and make decisions... something I am terrible at! I know DS is desperately keen to do it again.

Are you doing it?

Re: Jo Hawes Workshops

My DS did the three day course in May last year, it was really brilliant. Not only did he love every minute of it, but we also got invaluable advice and experience. I thoroughly recommend it, we plan to do it again.

Re: Acting Kidz

As far as I know, no reputable agency charges a fee. As to your current agent, how long have you been with them? Do they invite you for auditions? It has seemed to go very quiet over the past few weeks so maybe it is just that there is not much about at the moment. We haven't had anything yet either...

Re: Documentary looking for Child Character

Fartoomuchtodo, no I never heard back either, obviously got deluged. Always awkward though as you start thinking, did I email wrong address or something. I did see there is a #giveusano campaign doing the rounds, which I have to say I would be massively in favour of. I don't mind that you don't need...

Re: Just interested - general hit rate from submissions/cast

Fruitcake I just wanted to say I love your post, my DS and I are just starting out and come up from Somerset to London for castings and like you I try to make the trips a bit extra - and I think you are right about it building a really special bond and not just being about the castings, thank you.

Re: Imperium Management

Hi, I know this is late, but we have just joined the agency and we have found them to be a complete breath of fresh air, really hands on with excellent communication. They are more interested in a holistic approach to building a career and cv rather than just playing a numbers game by having loads o...

Re: Christopher Robin casting

Thank you so much, I knew it had been a huge casting. Well my little guy did get singled out for great feedback so we still got a lot out of it. Onwards and upwards ;)

I suppose you are right Dwaffamily as the end of the month has come and gone. Did anyone hear anything at all? We went along and got really excellent feedback... so I did sort of think... maybe... sigh
