I would say from experience that SY prioritise the children at the school. They are still a great agency though and we have had jobs through them that haven't been on spotlight

I wonder if it is different for certain councils then as Kent regulations definitely apply to rehearsals and performances. They can do longer hours when they are aged 9 and over

caggiejackson it doesn't specify which dance they have to be grade 4 in. It states that they have to be fantastic character actors, singers and brilliant dancers and grade 4 dance. Ds was Bruce and dance was def his weakest of the three. We were told to make sure his expression and dance was quite a...

DS was on reserve for funding at bird last year, diploma. His funding came through in June

DS is really enjoying it-He had a difficult choice between Bird and Laine. Bird was the right choice for him I think, but saying that it is a very individual thing and what suits one child doesn't necessarily suit another

Mumofthreegirls DS was on Bird reserve list last year and his offer came through in June. We managed to find him a lovely host family a short walk from the college. As he was only 16 we were keen that he was still looked after! Really feel for you all waiting for offers and reserve lists to move
