Lots!! I always got big packs of that sort of thing which are very bulky to transport when doing a shop. Ditto tinned stuff.

Re: So, what has DD forgotten to pack?

When my DD first moved to London we had a fairly big car with a very big boot. Said boot was filled as was almost all of the back seat - barely room for DD to squeeze in and I also had stuff at my feet    However, my view was that if she felt better having her stuff from home ar...

Re: Miss Saigon

What a coincidence! We were in the middle of the front row stalls - excellent value at £20 each!! Almost felt I was in the nightclub ;) The only bit of miscasting I thought was Ellen - she just seemed much older than Chris - weird choice. Loved the theatricality of the show - it's one where you just...

Miss Saigon

I have never seen this show before and went last night and was completely blown away by it!! Amazing theatre, superb performances from those playing Kim and the Engineer. Chris was OK but a bit blah. However, came out of the theatre with the songs in my head and would see it again in a heartbeat!!

Re: Singing exam soon, how to stop a cold getting a grip?

Steam, steam and more steam. Teaspoon of manuka honey (must be this one) in hot water and lemon a few time s aday. Then steam again (if you dont have one you can pick up one quite cheaply in Argos etc). Boots also sell manuka lozenges which are soothing and dont do a singers throat any harm

Re: Hay fever

Make sure she rinse out her nose with a saline solution as often as possible, that will help rinse out all those nasty alegies that are around, and stop the lining of he nose from becoming inflamed. Give my love to A, and do hope she is better soon. In the fast K has had steroid drops from doctors,...

Re: Lots of luck to all auditionees! & a place to put result

Hi I am new on here so please bear with me if I am posting in the wrong place! Does anyone know if BOVTS have made offers for the 3 year Acting degree course for entry 2014? My daughter was put on the short list (which we realise may be quite long) after her recall day in Feb. They did say they wou...

Re: Hay fever

I'm sorry to hear about the surgery refusing to see your dd Welsh Mum. I think they can tell her she needs to register elsewhere, but I think she could insist she needs to be seen in the meantime, as she needs her regular medication, until she can find another surgery. In fact she can buy all the c...

Re: Hay fever

Thank you for all your suggestions - I'll have a search online and see if there is a local bee keepers society in finchley area. It is really effecting her badly atm. It is made worse by the fact that when she phoned her doctor (who she has been registered with for 3 years in london) they refused to...
