Re: Not hearing back after Recall
Not happy. First time ever. Ds recalled and met director. A simple 'no thank you' would have been polite.

Re: Chichester Triple Threat.
I did drama at uni - won't say how many moons ago :-$ I had a fantastic time and worked on shows every term as part of the course. We virtually lived in the theatre or rehearsal rooms and I got practical experience in every aspect of backstage work, designing, sound, lighting, directing and performi...

Do you think there will be a cut after the first round or if all the children will continue to the end of the day?

Re: Not hearing back after Recall
I completely understand. We've been lucky to always get a response - either yes or no - from any CD's.

FredaBloggs I'm curious to know the cd? Though I understand if you're reluctant to name them.

Re: Not hearing back after Recall
In my experience if ds meets the director we get told either way. The agency tells us. If ds goes to a recall we don't hear back. If ds went to more recalls I would expect a response. I would tell your friend to have a word with their agent maybe?

Re: Audition songs
Hi Kingfisher, I don't know the first song but the second one sounds fine. They just need to hear if they can hold a tune to begin with I think. My ds says they sing in front of everyone so prepare him for that.

Chaperone and Tutors
Hello all,
Does anyone know what the rules are on working as a Chaperone and a Tutor on set? Is it allowed by the council?
I'd be very interested to know if different councils have different rules or if they all have the same rule.
Thank you for any replies,

Re: Spotlight and Agency Submissions
Most agencies should submit their clients if they fit the brief. However, we've gone from one casting every two months with the previous agency to two a week with his current one. I think this comes down to a number of factors which weigh heavily in his favour at the moment. I did ask the previous ag...
