Re: Writing to an agency!

Covering letter no more than a page long, telling them why you would like to join their agency, what you are hoping to do with your life, maybe pick out the proudest couple of bits from your cv and finish off with a strong personal statement. Don't worry too much about it, the headshot will decide a...

Re: 3 notapushymums on our Summer Camp so far...

Hi Rachel, the camp is for 11-18 (officially), although we have accepted younger on several occasions, it just depends on haow confident you are on your child's confidence staying away from home (although we also offer non-residential options)

Re: 3 notapushymums on our Summer Camp so far...

I gain comfort in the words of Mark Twain:

“When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished by how much he'd learned in seven years.”

Re: is your DC affected by M25 requirement for London roles?

hi Deb, Having posted that Manchester job a few months ago, I initially felt guilty stipulating "Manchester only", but it still became apparent how far people are willing to go to get their kids work. I mean really far! I know there are some extremely talented kids outside the magic circle...

Re: The benefits of student film

Hi Ruby95,

The company will need to alert the local authority if you are under 18 and taking time off school, and you will need a child performance licence, I believe, for all work which takes you out of school.

They will need a chaperone who is registered with your local council.

Re: Anyone been to a Beverley Keogh Casting?

Beverley Keogh and her assistant casting directors are really professional

In my experience you could get a character given and be asked to improvise, or be given a couple of lines to read. It does depend on the brief
