LIPA have a 6th form, its a Free School. If they opened an 11-16 school they would not be able to audition for entry (their primary school has the same admissions criteria as other Liverpool schools (SEN, siblings, distance from home etc) 16-19 schools/6th forms are able to select on ability. My daughter has auditioned a couple of times.... she made it to recalls but never further. They did not give feedback so Im not sure if her dance skills let her down, she is not the most flexible of children, she had great fun going to the auditions if you can afford it I would say do it. ohhh following! i was looking into this for my daughter as i know the auditions are coming up soon but i was put off by the audition fee and wasnt sure if it was genuine as i didnt know anyone with them so definetly useful to know they are xx

No i thought that with licensing hours being longer at 9 but shes not 9 until march- im not sure when the tour starts but they ask for availability from november 17 to september 18 x

We ended up getting an absolutely lovely email from them saying they had chosen a southern boy to play the lead part, Ricky, so unfortunately he couldnt have a northern little sister but that they all loved my DDs voice and shes on their radar for future projects so keeping fingers crossed for that ...

My DD has been invited to cast next week in manchester!:) we're very excited! is anyone else going? only thing im worried about is shes only 8 and on the email it says they wont see anyone under 9! but they know her age as i wrote it on both the application form and the email, would you still go? xx

Was anyone at the Hollyoaks casting this week? my daughter has her fingers tightly crossed for this one but it was very busy and i believe they've also been running the casting over 3 days so probably seen lots of girls! x
