Re: Auditioning for 2021 entry
Hi all - Couple of 2021 application questions we're hoping someone can help with! 1) We are having problems when clicking on the Laine Apply Now Button - says something about Debug. Does anyone know if their applications are live? Is it just us having problems? 2) Photo requirements. We can find th...

Break a leg
Wishing all students starting and continuing their training the best of luck, I am sure they are all excited and we are all emotional. Mine cannot wait to start her BA at GSA.
Those who weren't successful this time keep going and to those starting to audition in Autumn be yourself and enjoy them.

She did it! Off to GSA on the MT degree in September. Thanks everyone for all your support and advice along the way, really thought we were in for year three of auditions, so I'm very happy but also very relieved :D Fantastic news, she will be joining mine. Very impressed with their communication a...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
Hi all, I haven't been on here since Feb/March. I have had a read through to catch up and wanted to congratulate everyone on their offers! I knew the audition process was going to be stressful but what a weird year it has been on top of that. I take my hat off to all the boys and girls who go throu...

Re: Offers at 18 compared to offers at 16
There aren't that many that you apply to via UCAS, Guildford School of Acting, Central, and a few others but can't remember, some you apply through CUKAS , for example Trinity, others directly., Mountview, ArtsEd. Anyway, I am sure you will find out loads on here, once you start sifting through the f...

Re: Offers at 18 compared to offers at 16
Hi, my daughter auditioned at 16 and got offers at both places, it was a kind of just see what happens. After 2 years vocational training she was offered a Laine Dip, with Dada audition, GSA BA, Mountview foundation and ArtsEd foundation. Only one with no offer was Central, she really enjoyed that a...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
Looks like ArtsEd foundation got it's validation so that it now qualifies for Student Finance. I think there is a £4,000 top up. Good for any considering it or to bear in mind for next year. Any news on Laine DADA's? Are people still waiting to hear? Does this also mean that they now offer a degree...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
Yep I think it's a very tough one - with a lot of the colleges offering deferrals then it could be tougher next year to get funding if indeed as much will be available due to the pandemic and also due to Brexit so as tough it it may be doing blended learning which seems to be the current recommenda...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry

She was trying to persuade her husband the last time I spoke to her. They are located in Shoeburyness so it isn't exactly close to Perfor...

Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
They have increased the degree intake mostly from 85 to 130 - pre vocational staying at 50 and diploma max will be 50 - they are increasing the studio spaces and buildings and they will not be trained together (diploma and degree) like they previously were and the class sizes will actually be small...
