Is it the case that a college offering a degree for the first time can only take a certain number of students in the first year?

We got an offer of a place and a scholarship audition in March for MT 6th form.
DD is really pleased I am delighted for her but naturally concerned about the finances. I hope anyone else waiting hears good news.

Lawn at the audition day all they mentioned was A levels, they offer 20,most appear to take 3 subjects. I myself wondered what the performing qualification was,I spoke to reception today who told me it was a BTEC,but I stupidly didn't ask what level,it can't be a level 3 as = to 3 A's plus study for...

Hi lawn my DD went for MT audition and they offer A levels plus I think it's their own course,I am funnily enough going to call them today and ask the same question about MT,no mention of BTEC. We are waiting to hear the outcome .

Nicnacnoo yes on their website,under apply,then auditions and how to apply.Dates are all shown plus scholarship date in March.

7 audition days and up to 20th February at Tring,not all dates full yet. I can't see how they can do more that 10 per day,they wouldn't be able to fit everything in. I expect we will never find out what's what!

I was wondering that myself,I know they have more auditions planned so may well wait for those. Do you think everyone that applies gets an audition?
I just think that surely there can only be a few spaces left by now if they allocate as they go.

Lawn do,it was a great experience and insight into life there. Book a hotel well in advance if you can M25 was horrible for us in the morning, had to be there at 8.45.
